Tracklist

1. Carnage Carnival

Black Jackalope, Scurvy Rickets
Carnage Carnival starts the album off with an atmospheric, fast-paced groove that slows and slows and lands into the hook. The song has a unique sound, and a potent message, and eventually weaves itself into a moody, groovy tapestry of piano, strings, winds, and human flow.

2. The Sith Rises

Justus Becker, Carlos Velez
This piece strongly evokes the feel and imagery of Star Wars. A scene half-imagined and half based on real lore of Anakin’s journey to the dark side. It expresses emotional conflict, temptation, personal turmoil, and eventually succumbing to the dark side.

3. The Hermit

Carlos Velez, Scurvy Rickets

A selection of poetic prose from the forthcoming book Wallpaper Music: An Erik Satire, this piece is a spoken-word scene that integrates seemlessly with a previously-released piece of instrumental music, Now There Was A Special Silence by Scurvy Rickets.

4. Starshine and Sunkissed

Scurvy Rickets, Black Jackalope

A bright and uplifting piece to end a dark and moody album, this piece celebrates the joy of creating music. It invites the listener to savor each moment, and to dedicate time to simply stopping and enjoying the melody and the moment.
